DAY 1 BEFORE THE CRUISE

RANGOON (YANGON)

International arrival to Yangon, transfer to the Hotel. Lunch in the hotel. In the afternoon orientation tour of the city ending with the visit of the most enchanting and spectacular Pagoda of Myanmar: the Shwedagon. Overnight at the historic Strand Hotel or Chatrium Hotel (or similar 4 stars hotel).

DAY 2 BEFORE THE CRUISE

RANGOON (YANGON) – MANDALAY (BY FLIGHT)

Early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Visit Mahamuni Pagoda,followed by Mandalay Hill where spiraling staircases lead to sweeping views of the city and its temples and the nearby Kuthodaw Paya, which contains the world's biggest book, the workshops of gold leave making, tapestry making, woodcarving, marble carving and bronze casting. Lunch in the hotel. In the afternoon we travel by country boat to Mingun and visit the unfinished pagoda, the largest working bell in the world and the “home for the ages”.Overnight at Mandalay Hill Resort or similar.

DAY 3 BEFORE THE CRUISE

AVA (EMBARK)

Transfer to Gawein Jetty to embark the ship.

DAY 1 AFTER THE CRUISE

BAGAN – YANGON (BY FLIGHT)

Explore some of Bagan's local markets selling wood carvings, fabrics, longyis and rattan products. Visit a workshop to see the ancient technique of lacquerware making. Lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Check-in tothe historic Strand Hotel or Chatrium Hotel (or similar 4 stars hotel).

DAY 2 AFTER THE CRUISE

YANGON - DEPARTURE

In the morningdrive through Colonial downtownand visit the 1926-built Bogyoke Aung San market (formerly Scott’s Market) dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewellery shops, art galleries, and clothing followed by Sule Paya.International departures.
